“I remember during my lowest moments, I told him nothing was working out. He assured me, saying, ‘Just show up, it is okay. Go out and just show up.’ That moment resonated deeply with me,” she continued.

Sindhu elaborated on Kohli’s motivational guidance, saying, “He told me to embrace every opportunity without the fear of losing because I knew my training and skills. It shifted my mindset and motivated me to demonstrate my true potential.”

The badminton star also revealed how she maintains her connection with Kohli, sharing her victories with him. “Whenever I achieve something, I tell him about my success, whether it’s winning a tournament or an accolade. Meeting someone with such immense achievements and receiving insights from him is a true blessing,” she stated.

Sindhu offered her heartfelt appreciation for Kohli’s approach to the game, saying, “Watching him play, seeing how he prepares and performs, it’s truly inspiring. I have immense respect for all he has accomplished in his career.”

As a testament to her skills, Sindhu recently showcased an impressive performance in the BWF World Championships, decisively defeating Ireland’s Sophia Noble in the Round of 64. She won with a remarkable score of 21-7, 21-11, demonstrating her readiness for the challenging matches ahead.
