Chief Minister Omar Abdullah inspected various development projects in Srinagar on Wednesday morning. The extensive tour focused on reviewing key civic works aimed at improving public facilities and urban infrastructure.

The chief minister toured several sites, notably the proposed bridge at Barbar Shah. This project aims to address traffic congestion issues for commuters heading into Shehar-e-Khaas.
“Once completed, the bridge will play a vital role in reducing traffic congestion for commuters, ensuring smoother transit and improved urban mobility,” stated the CM’s office. This development represents a significant step towards enhancing connectivity in the historic city.
Furthermore, Abdullah inspected the newly constructed Maharaj Gunj Urban Primary Health Centre. This upgraded health facility marries modern healthcare infrastructure with the rich historical character of the area.
