Srinagar, Sep 20: Lalan Prasad, the esteemed father of senior IAS officer Shailendra Kumar, died in Srinagar this afternoon, leaving behind a legacy of dedication. His passing resonates deeply within the community.
Prasad’s last rites will take place at Shamshan Ghat in Karan Nagar, Srinagar, on Sunday, 21st September at 12:00 noon. As family and friends prepare for this significant moment, they reflect on the profound impact of Prasad’s life.
Dr. Tahir Rufayee, National Chairman of the National Foundation for Journalism and Media (NFJM), expressed his sorrow over the loss.
