On Monday, Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sunil Sharma launched a fierce critique of Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, accusing him of evading governance responsibilities. However, according to Sharma, the Chief Minister distances himself whenever it comes to actual governance decisions. “He always claims he has no powers when it’s time to act. He confirmed that the Government of India is actively reviewing measures to provide relief to those affected, reinforcing the BJP’s commitment to support the victims. “We stand committed to our promises and will ensure that relief reaches those affected,” he affirmed. The ongoing review aims to ensure timely assistance to those who have suffered losses due to recent flooding.
