Poonch: In order to ensure full saturation of beneficiary oriented schemes , nation level beneficiary oriented Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra was organised in surankote municipality which witnessed scores of activities majorly focusing on saturation of beneficiary oriented schemes.
The Government of India, with participation of States and Union Territories, is actively engaged in the mission of saturation through its flagship schemes for providing basic amenities like sanitation facilities, essential financial services, access to LPG connections, housing for the poor, food security, proper nutrition, reliable healthcare, clean drinking water, quality education etc. and making required services accessible to all targeted and eligible beneficiaries.
Deputy commissioner Poonch Yasin M. Choudhury( IAS) inaugurated the VBSY camp here at surankote municipality. Speaking on the occasion deputy commissioner appealed the general public to take advantage of such camps and enroll themselves from left out schemes at your doorstep.
Later, Vikramjit Singh(IPS) visited the VBSY camp and inspected the stalls. Appreciating the effort of district administration Poonch, he called for massive outreach during this campaign to ensure that development reaches the last mile and last beneficiary.
Overall on the second day of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, eleven other camps in eleven separate panchayats were also organised apart from surankote municipality.
