Mendhar, May 22: Two motorcyclists sustained serious injuries in a road accident in Mendhar, Poonch district, on Wednesday. They have been transported to the hospital for treatment.
Local sources reported that the collision occurred near the newly constructed stadium in the Kotan area of Mendhar, involving a motorcycle (number JK12A-1532) and a dumper (number JK12B-3600).
The injured individuals, identified as Rahab-ul-Hassan, son of Muhammad Yusuf from Suyan Dharglon, and Basharat Hussain, son of Muhammad Arif from Suyan Dharglon, were on the motorcycle. Rahab-ul-Hassan, who was in critical condition, was immediately taken to PHC Dharglon for emergency medical treatment, while Basharat Hussain received initial treatment at SDH Mendhar.
Subsequently, both were transferred to GMC Rajouri for further medical care. The police have taken notice of the incident and have registered a case.
