Suspected IED Discovered Near Bridge in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua

Jammu, Jan 30: Panic swept through the border village as a suspected improvised explosive device (IED) was found near a bridge in the Hiranagar-Ghagwal belt of Kathua district in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. The discovery prompted a swift response from the police, with teams from Hiranagar and Ghagwal police stations rushing to the spot. The Bomb Disposal Squad was deployed, successfully defusing the device and averting a potential major tragedy. Further details are awaited as the investigation unfolds.
