Uttar Pradesh : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath criticized the Samajwadi Party’s election rallies, citing incidents of stampedes, clashes, chaos, and ‘noora kushti’ (pretense of fighting) as frequent occurrences. Speaking at a public gathering in Jaunpur, he highlighted the disruption caused by such incidents and emphasized the importance of stability and orderliness in political events.
Adityanath noted the Samajwadi Party’s limited presence in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, highlighting incidents like a candidate’s nomination error in Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh, which left the party with no contestant. He underscored the challenges the party would have faced if in power, pointing out their failure to honor their leaders even when out of power.
Encouraging voters to support BJP candidate Kripashankar Singh in the Jaunpur Lok Sabha seat, Adityanath emphasized the significance of the lotus symbol. He contrasted the commitment of ‘Ram Bhakts’ to the divisive tactics of ‘Ram drohis,’ criticizing the latter’s appeasement of Pakistan and engagement in caste-based politics.
Adityanath highlighted the achievements of the Modi government in development and welfare, contrasting India’s progress with Pakistan’s challenges. He urged those praising Pakistan to leave India by June 4 and emphasized the benefits of Ayushman Bharat and housing schemes under the BJP government.
Critiquing the opposition’s manifesto, Adityanath warned against policies resembling Aurangzeb’s Jizya tax, advocating for equality and unity in independent India. He urged voters to reject parties failing to address public concerns and support candidates committed to development and public welfare.
