Iftkhar Ahmed, Hon’ble Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Rajouri, visited several border villages in the Doongi block of Rajouri district. The visit reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare, development, and security of the residents living in this sensitive border region.
During his visit, MLA Iftkhar Ahmed engaged directly with the local population, listening attentively to their issues and concerns. He appreciated the courage, resilience, and unity displayed by the people in these challenging times, living under constant uncertainty due to their proximity to the Line of Control (LoC).
Speaking to gatherings in various villages, Shri Ahmed praised the unwavering spirit of the border residents and assured them that their demands—pertaining to infrastructure, security, healthcare, education, and basic amenities—would be conveyed to the concerned authorities and pursued with urgency.
“I salute your strength and dedication to the nation. Despite facing numerous hardships, your commitment to peace and national integrity is commendable. The government stands firmly with you,” he said.
He further urged the villagers to remain united and alert, highlighting the crucial role they play in safeguarding the nation’s border integrity. He also stressed the government’s focus on improving living conditions through border area development programs and assured regular monitoring of ongoing projects.
