SURANKOTE: Today marked a momentous occasion with the inauguration of the Donnar to Sawhney Mughal Mahra Road by way of ribbon cutting ceremony by sarpanch Ms. Tahira Tabassum, of a 3.00km lifeline road connecting previously isolated regions,Funded under NABARD REDIFF 29, this essential infrastructure eliminates the arduous 7km trek residents endured daily.
The inauguration ceremony witnessed a gathering of 70-80 individuals, including Ms. Tahira Tabassum, the dedicated Sarpanch of the area, and Sheikh Tahir Abdullah, the esteemed representative from the PWD Department. Sarpanch Tahira Tabassum expressed heartfelt gratitude to DC Poonch for tireless efforts, acknowledging the pivotal role in transforming the community’s accessibility. Moreover sarpanch Tahira tabassum also thanked XEN PWD Surankote, for its emphasizing collaborative efforts for the betterment of the region.
