District Development Council (DDC) Member Ch. Imran Zaffar has written a letter to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, expressing his deep concern over the deteriorating condition of the Mendhar Government Degree College.
In his letter, Mr. Zaffar highlighted the urgent need for intervention, stressing that the lack of proper facilities and maintenance has left the college in a dismal state. He warned that the neglect of such a vital institution would force the youth of the area to suffer and wander aimlessly in search of quality education and opportunities.
Mr. Zaffar further emphasized that the failure to address this critical issue would reflect poorly on the administration’s commitment to education and youth development.
He has urged the Chief Minister to prioritize this matter and take swift action to ensure that the college is restored to a functional and satisfactory state, providing students with the environment they deserve for their academic growth.
